T-BALL
SPRING T-BALL
Mid-Way Baptist offers T-Ball programs for children from ages 3 to 6 year old's. Our T-Ball leagues are designed to teach and develop a player's skills while incorporating good sportsmanship with a positive Christian influence. We encourage you to reach out to other families in your community and invite them to register for this exciting, fun, and healthy sports opportunity.
We believe that it is important for parents to be involved in their children’s overall development. Volunteering your time is a great way to let your child know that you are committed to them. Please consider being involved as a Coach.
Each team will have a Head Coach and Assistant Coach.
Our T-Ball League consists of recreational/semi-competitive play for children from 3 - 6 years old.
GAMES WILL BEGIN March 23, 2024 and conclude May 4, 2024. Our T-ball season runs for 6 concurrent weeks. Games will be played at the Mid-Way ball-field on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm and will last for 1 hour. Game schedules will be emailed to parents.
Teams will play and practice once per week for one hour. The first 30 minutes of each game will be for practice. This will be done on Saturday as this is a developmental league! Please ensure your child is ready to participate by providing the necessary sports equipment prior to their first practice.
The fee for this league is $75.00 of which includes a jersey, referee fees, and an "end of the season" participation gift.
TEAM PLACEMENTS
Our goal is to create “equally skilled teams” and accommodate parents when possible. If siblings are participating in the same league, then we endeavor to place them on the same team if parents desire. We will also try to allow team preference as long as team roster space is available. This is at league Director's discretion!
EQUIPMENT
Equipment requirements for this league include a glove, cleats, baseball pants (preferably without pockets). Game jersey will be provided!
SPORTSMANSHIP
Parents please remember that participation in our Sports program is a privilege and not a right. Our expectation is that parents will respect and appreciate our volunteer coaches, officials, and Sports Pastor. At all times please respect our grounds and property. T-Ball should be fun for everyone involved. Adults should always be an example to the children watching them.
