Prayer is so important during this time. God is using each of you to impact our community through prayer. Thank you for taking the time to read over the prayer points below and lift them up to the Lord.
PRAYER TIP #4 - Confess Your Sins
Psalm 66:18-19 "If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer."
Why should we confess our sins in prayer? One of the biggest hindrances to an effective prayer life is the presence of unconfessed sin in the life of the one who is praying. Because our God is holy, there is a barrier that exists between Him and us when we come to Him with unconfessed sin in our lives. Take time to tell God of any known sin you have in your life and humbly ask for His forgiveness during your prayer time. Scripture tells us in 1 John 1:9 that "...He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

SUGGESTED PRAYER - Dear God, I come before You in the mighty Name of Jesus, and I humbly confess my sin to You. I ask for Your forgiveness in every area that I have failed You. I thank You for being faithful and just to cleanse me from every sin. Lord, I ask You to bless all the women and girls who participate in the Flourish Online event tomorrow. May they be encouraged to grow closer to You as a result of this event. I ask for You to minister to those hurting and suffering in our community. I also ask for continued protection from COVID-19 for our entire Church family. I praise You God for all You have done, and are doing in each individual life connected to Mid-Way. God, we pray that You would speak through Pastor Grant as he proclaims Your Holy Word from the pulpit and that you would use it to draw people to You. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
